Everestlure LLC, trading as Everest Lure, operates this storefront from Durham, North Carolina, United States. This policy covers information handled through our website, checkout and customer support. For privacy requests, contact xtcefw@gmail.com.
Test checkout is currently enabled. Checkout creates test orders only. No real payment is collected and no goods are shipped for a test order. Use fictional details and the test card shown at checkout. Test information can still be stored by our service providers, so please do not enter sensitive personal information.
Information we handle
- Contact information: your name, email address and message when you email us. The contact form opens your email app; completing the form alone does not submit a message to our server.
- Checkout and order information: the items and quantities selected, contact details, billing and shipping information, payment status and order references supplied during checkout.
- Payment information: Stripe processes payment details in its payment form. Our website server does not receive full card numbers or card security codes. We can access the transaction details Stripe makes available to merchants.
- Technical information: our hosting and payment providers may process IP addresses, browser and device information, request logs and security signals to deliver and protect the service.
- Browser storage: your shopping cart, temporary checkout state and a checkout security cookie. See our Cookie & Storage Policy for details.
How we use information
We use information to keep your cart available, provide and secure checkout, respond to questions, maintain order records, and investigate errors, fraud or misuse. When real orders are enabled, we also use order details to arrange delivery, handle returns, send service messages and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations.
We do not add you to a marketing mailing list just because you contact us or use checkout.
Service providers and disclosures
Information is shared as needed to provide the service:
- Vercel: website hosting and request handling.
- Stripe: checkout, payment processing, transaction records and fraud prevention. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
- Email services: our email provider handles messages you send us. When shipment notifications are sent through our shipping service, Resend receives the recipient’s name, email address, order details and tracking information.
- Delivery providers: when fulfilling real orders, carriers receive the delivery details needed to transport and track a package.
We may also disclose relevant information when legally required, to protect people or our legal rights, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable privacy protections. This storefront does not use advertising pixels or cross-site behavioral advertising. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention and security
We keep information for the time reasonably needed to provide the service, resolve support requests and disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal, tax or accounting requirements. Retention depends on the record and the applicable obligation; payment and email providers may retain records under their own policies. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed.
We use access controls and secure connections to protect information. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Please do not send card details, passwords or government identification by email.
Your choices and requests
You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal information by emailing xtcefw@gmail.com. Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may also have rights to a copy of your information, to restrict or object to certain processing, or to appeal a decision about a privacy request. We will handle requests within the periods required by applicable law and explain any lawful limits, such as records we must retain.
We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your request. An authorized agent may contact us on your behalf, subject to appropriate verification. To appeal a response, reply to it and state that you are making a privacy appeal. You can also contact your relevant privacy regulator. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
You can remove cart data or block cookies through your browser. Some checkout features will not work if required storage is blocked. The storefront does not use optional analytics or advertising trackers; Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signals do not change the essential storage described in our Cookie & Storage Policy.
Children and international visitors
Our store is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact xtcefw@gmail.com so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.
We are based in the United States. Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries, where data protection rules can differ from those in your location. We apply any transfer safeguards required by applicable law.
